A few things i'm excited about...

• Tim Burton is, apparently, about to start filming a new version of 'Alice in Wonderland' that is part live action and part CGI (Computer-generated imagery...like Gollum in Lord of the Rings, or the newest King Kong movie) Oh yes, my friends...I kid you not. The depressing part is it's set for release in 2010. I caaaan't waaaaaait.

• Jared Hess (the guy who did Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre) is ALSO set to release a movie called 'Gentlemen Broncos'. It's about a teenager who attends a fantasy writer's convention to find that his idea has been stolen by an established novelist. Oh maaaan...I'm psyched. That one's supposed to come out in 2009.

• On a level of the pool containing less shallowness of thought (what some less complicated people just call DEEP) I'm excited to see what God's doing. It'll be interesting so see how all these little (or not so little) aspects of my life, and the lives of those I love, come together and turn into one charming story. No reason to be afraid...right? Of course right.

• I'm getting my hair cut on Thursday. I know I'm supposed to be growing it out, and I know that I ALWAYS do this but...this time I really mean it. I'm not cutting off that much, and it'll look better as it does grow out and...I really just need something new on this head of mine. It's looking more mop top in the non cute sense of the word. More literal. PLUS, I'm trying out this new hair dresser so...I just hope I don't end up with a really horrible haircut. I don't think I will though, I'm feeling positive on this one. Cause you know...it takes fewer muscles to smile than frown...when you're getting your hair cut. Or something.

• Eisley is on tour again. Le gasp, I know. Me hopes I'll get to go.

• My little june-bug niece to be brought into the world of air, but that one's almost a little redundant. It's a duh. A 'just-shut-up-already-ism'.
  

• SPRING! I realized it even more when this specific Beatles cd came on that I don't normally listen to, I actually had to listen cause it just seemed ...like i had to. THEN i remembered it was a cd I listened to around this time last year...when it was springy. It brought back all kinds of awesomely springy memories. Is it already that time of year again?! I'd forgotten how besmitten I am of this time of year. It's like every year God gives me a surprise that I wasn't anticipating. Spring...makes me shiver in delight. You who pick up on the subtle irony of the last statement can now silently laugh to yourselves. SILENTLY. And briefly...cause it's not really that funny.

• Watching one of my Beatles movies. I'm going to do it, eventually. I wish I could watch one outside. now THAT....would be awesome. Except it would have to be on my laptop and the glare would be bad and I'd probably have an allergy/sinus attack. Soo.....yeah...we'll just leave that one the shelf of 'ne're to be fulfilled dreams' along with ice skating to Feliz Navidad with Big Bird (watch this if that statement confuses you, it'll suddenly be clear around 1:26).
