The Rainbow Connection

Do you ever feel romance is dead?
I believe I have fallen into believing this...and I don't think I really realized how much I thought that until this evening.
This guy said something incredibly sweet, not to me, but just in general.
A real life guy, not in a movie.
It encouraged me that there is still romance in this day and age.
It doesn't hurt that I just finished watching 'Wuthering Heights' which is just...like romance tarnish.
It's an amazing story, don't get me wrong but...geez louise.
Between that and this day's anti-marital sexuality it's about enough to make you think it's all gone majorly south.
Not to mention the lack of courage a lot of guys seem to have when it comes to girls who don't chase after them.
Romance can seem to be dead, I mean...you hear of it but in kind of far away terms and when you look around, it seems to be like some rare extinct bird you think exists but you don't really know because you haven't seen it...definitely.
You just sort of see like a tail that you think might be the romance toucan.
But where God dwells, there Light is.
And where that Light is, that's where true love and true lasting romance dwells.
God's blessing, the pursuit of selflessness and loyalty making something the world can't give.
It's amazing to hear it bubbling on people's lips.
The real stuff.

I guess that's all I have to say.
That and, if you're waiting for it, don't despair.
I believe it exists.
